Senior Power BI Engineer

We are seeking Senior Power BI Developers to support the migration of enterprise reporting solutions from MicroStrategy to Power BI. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing interactive dashboards and data models that ensure high performance, usability, and functional parity with existing reporting solutions. You’ll collaborate closely with the Power BI Technical Lead, business analysts, and stakeholders to deliver scalable and insightful business intelligence solutions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience developing interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI, with advanced skills in DAX, Power Query, and data modeling


• Experience migrating or transforming reports from MicroStrategy or similar BI platforms to Power BI


• Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting complex business requirements and translating them into effective Power BI visualizations


• Ability to optimize report performance through efficient data modeling, query optimization, and DAX best practices


• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and quality assurance skills, ensuring accurate and reliable report delivery

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement interactive Power BI reports and dashboards, migrating complex existing reports from MicroStrategy


• Develop data models, DAX calculations, and measures to support reporting requirements efficiently and accurately


• Perform detailed analysis of current MicroStrategy reports to ensure functional parity in Power BI


• Work closely with the Technical Lead, business analysts, and stakeholders to translate business needs into high-quality technical solutions


• Conduct performance tuning, testing, troubleshooting, and optimization of Power BI solutions


• Provide documentation, user training support, and post-deployment troubleshooting assistance
