Job Description - Senior Presales Engineer - ALM (MedTech)

Today, we are a global team of nearly 7,000 and our main objective is to create opportunities for our team members to explore, learn, and grow \u2013 all while seeing their ideas come to life and celebrating the differences that make us who we are and the work we do possible. \n\nPosition Overview:\n\nAs an ALM Senior Solution Consultant, you will act as a technical presales expert in North America for ALM and related topics in PTC\u2019s ALM HUB, supporting our Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) solutions: Codebeamer, Pure Variants and Modeler. This role is responsible for supporting Codebeamer across enterprise clients mainly in regulated industries such as automotive, aerospace, and medical devices. You will closely collaborate with the global ALM expert solution consulting \u0026 services team.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * Develop \u0026 present technical presentations and customized demonstrations of PTC Codebeamer including integrations with Windchill and 3rd party products to customers prospects and partners (technical and executive audiences.)\n * Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, CSM, Product Management, R\u0026D, and Support to ensure seamless customer experience.\n * Plan, manage and deliver POC\u2019s (proof of concepts) and technical workshops based on customer and partner related business needs.\n * Act as a technical project manager for customer projects, working with our partners, solution centers and R\u0026D.\n * As a solution finder, suggest potential solutions and/or alternatives to key customer and partner challenges.\n * Support the sales team in qualifying potential opportunities with current customers, partners or prospects with the goal of fostering customer adoption and value realization of Codebeamer.\n * Develop technical responses for customer requests for information (RFI, RFP etc.)\n * Stay current on industry trends in systems engineering, DevOps, and compliance (e.g., ISO 26262, ASPICE, FDA).\n\n\n\nRequired Qualifications:\n\n * 5+ years in presales, professional services or solution delivery within enterprise software with strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Excellent written \u0026 verbal communication skills in English\n * Proven success in technical sales supporting enterprise customers in regulated industries.\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.\n\n\n\nPreferred Skills and Knowledge:\n\n * Experience with ALM, Requirements, Tests, Risk \u0026 Software Management, systems engineering and compliance-driven development.\n * Background in automotive, aerospace, or medical device software environments.\n * Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Git, Jenkins, and other DevOps toolchains.\n * Excellent relationship building capabilities, High-energy \u0026 results oriented with a customer first, goals driven mentality. Problem solving and troubleshooting skills\n * First class attention to detail, solution-finding\n * Basic knowledge or at least one programming or scripting language Java (J2EE), C++ Javascript, Python etc.\n * Basic experience with relational Databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL)\n\n\n\nPTC carefully considers a wide range of factors when determining compensation. The anticipated annual salary range for this position is between $115,000 - $130,000. The salary range reflects a good-faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting. Additionally, candidates may be eligible for a performance-based bonus.\n\nActual compensation may vary based on a candidate\u0027s skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Eligible employees also have the opportunity to become a PTC shareholder through our employee share purchase program (ESPP) which allows for the purchase of discounted PTC stock. Certain roles may also be eligible for participation in our equity programs.
