JOB SUMMARY:
The

Senior Prevention Program Manager

is responsible for the planning and implementation of all prevention services related to PrEP including, but not limited to, education, assessment, evaluation, enrollment, data collection, financial assistance, and follow-up, and will work closely with the Medical Team and the Prevention Specialist Program Director.

Requirements
Essential Duties
Knowledge of PrEP, STIs, HIV/AIDS, knowledge of the target population and past direct experience with people living with HIV/AIDS a plus.
Willingness to continuous learning and professional development
Possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively in a multi-cultural setting including target populations, volunteers, agency staff and Board of Directors.
Ability to be a self-starter with the ability to multi-task.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
Ability to demonstrate good to excellent facilitation skills.
Ability to possess excellent communication skills (writing, spelling, listening and speaking).
Strong strategic thinking and planning skills
Ability to develop and implementing long term and short term plans that meet grant deliverables and initiatives that align with organizational goals
Ability to work cooperates as a team member.
Ability to resolve problems solving and decision making.
Ability to work without close supervision.
Ability to Utilizes good management techniques.
Ability to follows through to completion of assigned tasks.
Ability to abide by all policies and procedures concerning personnel including conflict of interest policy.
Skills in word processing, proficiency in spreadsheet database and presentation software.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Health Education and three years health education experience, or an equivalent degree in the education field or five years’ experience in health education services.
Experience in a supervisory role
Valid State Driver’s License
