The selected candidate will perform electrical circuit analysis, test and troubleshooting. In addition, the selected candidate will support development of EMI/EMC requirements, EMI/EMC hardware design requirements at sub-system level and will perform design analysis to verify compliance.\n\nThis position is contingent upon the successful transfer of an active DoD Secret Clearance.\n\nBasic Qualifications for a Senior Principal EMI/EMC Electrical Engineer: \n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree with 8 years of experience, a Master\u2019s degree with 6 years of experience or a Ph.D. with 4 years of experience in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical fields- Prior experience in Analog circuit design, modeling, and simulation\n\n * U.S. Citizenship is required\n\n * Active Secret Clearance is required\n\n * Electronic hardware design experience\n\n * Knowledge of MIL-STD 461 and MIL-STD 464 and DO-160\n\n * Knowledge of EMI/EMC simulation, modeling, and testing.\n\n * Experience with modeling and simulation using PSPICE\n\n * Ability to work onsite full-time in Woodland Hills, CA\n\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications: \n\n * M.S. in Electrical Engineering\n\n * Proficiency in using CST CAE tools\n\n * Experience with EMP simulation, modeling, and testing.\n\n * Experience in Signal Integrity analysis, working knowledge in using Cadence Signal Integrity analysis tool or Siemens HyperLynx high-speed analysis tools.\n\n * Experience with sub-system and system level EMI/EMC testing\n\n * Knowledge of circuit simulation and modeling using Ansys EMC Plus\n\n\n\n\nAs a full-time employee of Northrop Grumman Mission Systems, you are eligible for our robust benefits package including: \n\n * Medical, Dental \u0026 Vision coverage \n\n * 401k \n\n * Educational Assistance \n\n * Life Insurance \n\n * Employee Assistance Programs \u0026 Work/Life Solutions \n\n * Paid Time Off \n\n * Health \u0026 Wellness Resources \n\n * Employee Discounts \n\n\n\n\nLink to Benefits: https://totalrewards.northropgrumman.com/\n\nThis positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. \n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $137,400.00 - $206,000.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
