As a Senior Principal Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst \\- Level 4 you will be pivotal in supporting missions critical to national and global security. Ready to join forces with our visionary team?\n\nOur Senior Principal Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst (shortened as \u201cMaterial Cost Management Analyst\u201d) will be primarily responsible for establishing and monitoring budgets and schedules for direct contract work on various aerospace programs. An ideal candidate will also provide meaningful guidelines for the program and supply chain functions in order to execute the program to cost and schedule targets.\n\nYou and your team of peers will assist the programs with financial analyses such as budget vs actuals, estimated cost at completion, funding profiles, sales outlooks, cash forecasting, and variance analysis. The team will also monitor contract budget and support adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, prepare expenditure projections and support timely requests for additional funding to the government.\n\nThis position will be based out of Chandler, AZ. This position is a non-telecommuting role. \n\nResponsibilities include but are not limited to supporting the following: \n\nBusiness cadence and reporting objectives:\n\n * Perform Earned Value Metric (EVM) tasks including Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) development, budget baseline, cost risk analysis/ assessment and visibility reports, development and analysis of estimates to complete\n * Maintain the accuracy of the managed WBS structures (or Control Accounts) through recurring monthly status of activities, manual adjustment entries, and analyzing resulting variances to budget\n * Provide support to internal surveillance to include analysis of program performance, monitoring the Estimate to Complete (ETC) and program Estimate at Complete (EAC), review of Variance Analysis Reports (VARs) and Change Requests (CRs)\n\n\n\nBusiness strategy and compliance objectives:\n\n * Integrated with the program and other functional teams (i.e. supply chain management) to assist in the reconciliation of data facilitating an avenue for recommendations to program management/teams to include corrective actions\n * Support internal and external audits and reviews requested by programs, customers, and company management, fact-finding and negotiation support\n * Perform analysis and prepare reports to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines \n * Apply knowledge of the DCMA data driven Earned Value Management Systems compliance process and current policy\n\n\n\nCross-functional leadership objectives:\n\n * Work cross-functionally with other departments (program office, finance, supply chain, etc) to effectively execute critical transaction needs.\n * Ability to facilitate training sessions as needed to support programs on various Earned Value Topics\n * Review current processes and procedures and provide recommendations for streamlining\n\n\n\nWhy You? You\u0027re the candidate we\u0027re searching for if you are ready to achieve the impossible alongside like-minded innovators.\n\nThis position is contingent upon the candidate obtaining final clearances and program Access(es) within a reasonable period as determined by the company. \n\nBasic Qualifications for level 4:\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree with 8+ years of stated professional experience \u2013 OR \u2013 Master\u2019s degree and 6 years of stated professional experience\n * Will consider an additional 4+ years of stated experience in lieu of degree\n * Experience with financial analysis or reporting\n * Strong understanding of material movement or material contracts in a government contracting setting\n * Experience with MS Office Suite\n * Experience with Earned Value Management (EVMS)\n * Ability to obtain an Department of Defense (DoD) Clearance\n * Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with program team, stakeholders, and various customers\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications: \n\n * Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or Business Administration\n * Defense industry experience\n * Working knowledge and practical application of Earned Value Management (EVM) and industry standards EIA 748 guidelines\n * Program Cost Control experience\n * Experience with FAR/DFAR\n * Proficiency of the following systems or software: Deltek Cobra or similar project management software, Microsoft Project\n * Deltek CostPoint or other BW/MRP user experience\n * Active Department of Defense (DoD) Clearance\n * DCMA EVMS audit experience\n * Working understanding of support to Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBR) both as a Prime and Subcontractor\n\n\n\nCurious about all the exciting developments with the Northrop Grumman Space Sector? \n\nClick the link below:\n\nhttps://www.northropgrumman.com/space\n\nCurious about all the exciting developments with the Northrop Grumman Space Sector? \n\nClick the link below:\n\nhttps://www.northropgrumman.com/space\n\nWorking at Northrop Grumman is more than just a paycheck. For more information on our Total Rewards package, please visit our Total Rewards site.\n\nNorthrop Grumman Total Rewards\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $101,400.00 - $152,200.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
