Your Role

• Manage cases from intake to closure in a supportive but fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities:




• Reduce Mark’s decision fatigue to free him to focus on his competencies: client development, client counseling, strategic legal thinking, trials, negotiations, vision, and marketing.


• Crush deadlines with no errors.


• Move all cases forward—always.


• Anticipate and independently solve challenges.


• Shepherd families through probate administration, and estate planning with compassion, efficiency, and excellence, which turns clients into raving fans.


• Coordinate with beneficiaries, heirs, and financial institutions.


• Manage docket, calendar, communications, files, postings, ads, etc.


• Conduct legal research/writing, prepare trial notebooks, and craft compelling plain English demand letters, pleadings, motions, notices, deeds, wills, trusts, POAs, etc.

Qualifications :  

• Bachelor's degree, paralegal certificate, or SBOT board certification.


• 5+ years of Texas probate or wills and trusts.


• Well-versed in Texas Estates Code, drafting basic estate plans, and e-filing.


• Proficient in or quick to master AI (Grok, Claude), Westlaw, Office 365, Clio, etc.


• Big picture and detail oriented.


• Coachable, self-reflective, competitive (but not cut-throat).

Compensation

• $80,000-$90,000+ base salary commensurate with experience, skills, and ability to quickly jump into the fray with limited guidance.


• Monthly/quarterly bonuses tied to KPIs.
