Senior Process Engineer Responsibilities
- Develop specifications and designs for the client's gas handling systems with a focus on safety
- Document the design process, including design reviews and technical documentation
- Liaise with vendors and engineering firms to procure, manufacture and deploy pilot plant equipment as needed
- Collaborate to document hazards and develop safety procedures
Senior Process Engineer Required skills and qualifications
- B.SC Chemical Engineering. Masters preferred
- 2+ years of experience
- Experience with pumping corrosive or hazardous gases like chlorine (Cl2) and/or hydrogen chloride (HCl) (dry/wet)
- Working knowledge of core engineering principles, including materials, thermodynamics, gas flow dynamics. Ability to perform engineering necessary to go from specifications to part procurement
- Proficient in production of process flow diagrams and P&ID drawings
Senior Process Engineer Preferred experience
- Heat exchangers
- Sealed gas blowers
- Industrial process instrumentation and control
- SolidWorks, Visio (P&ID)
- Shakedown, troubleshooting, and operational experience with actual equipment
