We are currently partnered with a dynamic player in the rigid plastic packaging segment.

Our client is hiring a

Process Engineer

- to play a crucial role in new product line integration and improving existing processes, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Site Location: Greenville-Spartanburg region, SC

Key Responsibilities Include:
Ensure tasks are done safely, reporting food safety concerns promptly.
Uphold Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and maintain cleanliness.
Implement Continuous Improvement Programs and address non-conformances.
Wear appropriate PPE and be prepared for travel.
Perform duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.
Supervise process technicians and manage scheduling and performance.
Approve time off and conduct shift meetings.
Maintain performance records and administer plant policies.
Establish and implement processes for injection lines, ensuring quality and efficiency.
Collaborate with quality to meet customer requirements.
Assist in new equipment start-up and monitor critical parameters.
Lead process analysis and mentor technicians.
Liaise with suppliers and contribute to process improvement.

What experience will make you an ideal fit for the role:
5+ years' experience in injection molding and knowledge of quality and safety systems
Ability to present technical data and solve problems effectively.
Proficiency in manufacturing practices and machinery systems.
Strong analytical skills and familiarity with injection molding processes.
Capability to work independently and in teams.
Engineering degree or technical certification preferred.
Plastic certification is preferred.
