Job Opportunity: Senior Site Engineer – Technical Services and Process Improvement
We are currently seeking a Senior Site Engineer to provide vital technical services and support process improvements within our dynamic manufacturing environment. This role is crucial in driving continuous improvements across multiple production lines, enhancing product quality, and optimizing cost-efficiency, all while upholding the highest standards of safety and environmental responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and enhance processes for various production areas, ensuring optimal quality, safety, and efficiency.
- Proactively identify and resolve production challenges, analyze process data, and implement strategic solutions to enhance operational performance.
- Lead facility upgrades and procedural enhancements to sustain and improve production outputs.
- Manage and mentor a team of junior Process Engineers, providing expertise and fostering professional growth.
- Develop and maintain critical production documentation such as operating procedures, safety protocols, and process modifications.
- Engage regularly with Technicians to ensure seamless communication and adherence to updated manufacturing procedures.
- Deliver formal training to production staff as required and handle quality investigations to ensure compliance with standards.
- Prepare detailed reports on production issues and customer feedback, contributing to continuous operational improvements.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with over 7 years of technical experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably within plastics, textiles, fibers, or similar industries.
- Strong background in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
- Proven ability to support technical processes and demonstrate advanced problem-solving capabilities.
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without future sponsorship.
