DUTIES:

Design, develop, and implement assembly processes. Investigate and resolve work-in-process problems. Analyze process statistics; recommend and implement process improvements and modifications. Establish production/process standards. Lead process engineering role in working with Design and Development department to implement new products. Develop and justify machinery and equipment; source equipment, parts, and supplies. Develop and maintain plant layout. Coordinate manufacturing process engineering efforts with other process engineers. Supervise production employees to meet customer service and operating efficiency requirements. Act as technical point of contact for the wider team; and guide less experienced operations team members. Provide direct supervision, coaching, and mentoring to other process engine

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION:

This position requires a Master's degree or equivalent in Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering, or related field and one (1) year of related experience. Must also have experience with each of the following: 1) Using Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma; 2) Process management principles and concepts, including [(1) Understanding process thinking, including process ownership; (2) Identifying and satisfying customers' requirements; (3) Establishing process baselines and measurement; (4) Analyzing and improving processes through the use of quality and industrial engineering concepts and tools; and (5) Understanding how to use gradual, continuous process improvement and process redesign or reengineering]; 3) Manual light assembly, spin welding, and ultrasonic assembly technologies; 4) Using Computer Aided Design (CAD) and related design computer software; 5) Project management skills, including new product introduction and automation implementation; and 6) Using business system software and Microsoft Office system software such as Word, Excel, Power Point and Project. Will accept experience gained before, during or after Master's program. Employer will accept experience gained concurrently. Drug test and background check are required.
