Job Description - Senior Product Manager - B2B

We’re Scan.com, the digital health scale-up that gives patients and physicians simpler, faster access to medical imaging.

At the heart of Scan.com lies a different way of doing things: empowering patients to make financially smart decisions, enabling live scheduling for patients and providers, and easing clinician workloads through AI. It’s our mission to make medical scans accessible to all.

You’ll be joining us at an exciting time - we’ve recently launched our physician marketplace product in the USA to great success, have raised over $60m in VC funding and are on track to grow over 300% in 2024.

WHAT YOU WILL BE GETTING INVOLVED IN:

In this role, you will drive the strategy, development, and growth of our Referring Physician, Attorney, and Internal Operations products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define product requirements, prioritize features, and deliver innovative solutions that meet the needs of our customers and drive business success.

As a scale-up business, you can expect your role to develop over time. However, the the below priorities best represent your key responsibilities:

  1. Product Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive product roadmap that aligns with company goals and market trends. Define clear objectives and key results (OKRs) to measure the success of product initiatives.
  2. Requirements Gathering: Conduct market research, analyze customer feedback, and collaborate with stakeholders to identify product opportunities and prioritize feature enhancements.
  3. Product Development: Work closely with engineering, design, and quality assurance teams to translate product requirements into actionable user stories and specifications. Drive the development process, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality features and releases.
  4. Go-to-Market Strategy: Collaborate with marketing, sales, and customer success teams to develop go-to-market strategies for new product launches and feature releases. Define messaging, positioning, and promotional activities to drive adoption and revenue growth.
  5. Customer Focus: Champion the voice of the customer throughout the product lifecycle. Conduct user research, usability testing, and data analysis to understand customer needs, preferences, and pain points.
  6. Performance Tracking: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success of product initiatives. Monitor product performance, analyze data, and iterate on features to optimize user experience and drive business results.
  7. Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including executives, customers, and partners. Communicate product updates, roadmap plans, and strategic priorities effectively to ensure alignment and support.

THE TOP 5 THINGS WE WANT YOU TO ACHIEVE IN YOUR FIRST YEAR ARE:

  • Design and ship core platform features that serve all of our b2b products: patient-led scheduling, appointment modification, reminders, and imaging order ingestion.
  • Enable a culture of gathering continuous insights. You’ll help the product team establish a culture of continuously gathering qualitative and quantitative data to inform feature development.
  • Launch and establish product-market-fit for our b2b insurance product
  • Establish strong relationships with cross-functional teams to collaborate on seamless execution and product delivery from ideation to launch and sustainment.
  • Support and demonstrate growth in our user base and retention through improvements in user experience and data-driven optimizations.

WHAT YOU MIGHT BRING TO THE TABLE:

  • 4+ years of experience in product management roles with a focus in B2B software products, preferably in marketplace and/or health tech, or telehealth products.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing B2B products from conception through maturity. You’ve launched products customers love and are comfortable leading large, complex projects.
  • Strong understanding of product management methodologies, agile development practices, UX/UI design principles, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Passion for technology and innovation, with a customer-centric mindset.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time for customer meetings, industry conferences, and team collaboration sessions.

HOW WE WILL INTERVIEW YOU:

We try to keep our interview process short so that we can move through the stages quickly as a small business. Due to availability, there may be a change to the order of the interview process, but generally speaking, this is what you can expect:

  1. Introductory call/interview with Sam, our Senior Talent Partner. The call is usually via telephone and will last around 30 minutes.
  2. Should it feel like there is an initial fit for all, we will invite you to a 45-minute video call with Humale, the VP of Product. This more structured interview will deep-dive into the role and technical needs.
  3. All of our roles will have a small assessment stage. This might be in person, a take-home assessment or further video calls. Length varies, however, we are mindful that you will have your own work to do and, therefore, try to keep it as simple as possible.
  4. Meet the founders, hiring manager, and/or other team members. Again, the meeting length varies depending on the number of people and whether it is in person or via video call.
  5. Offer!

BENEFITS:

We divide this into the basics you should expect and the added benefits.

The basics:

  • Salary range of $140,000 - $180,000 per year
  • 401k
  • Healthcare, Vision and Dental
  • All the equipment needed for you to do your role effectively
  • Flexible working
  • Remote or hybrid working options
  • Personal Development budgets
  • 18 days PTO
  • 10 paid sick days

The benefits:

  • Equity
  • Wellness budget to spend via a partner platform

Coming soon:

Following a review with our existing team, we are currently redrafting our benefits package to cover the things you actually need/want.  Co-creation is at the heart of many of our People processes, and we can’t wait to unveil our new and improved benefits.
