Within this context, the Workforce Transitions & Employee Experience portfolio focuses on the critical journeys and interactions that shape how employees move through moments of change and engage with HR. The portfolio is responsible for advancing seamless, role-relevant, and enterprise-aligned experiences that improve usability, simplify operations, and enable more effective workforce transitions.
Purpose: The Senior Product Manager, Workforce Transitions & Employee Experience is accountable for defining and advancing a product domain strategy that translates enterprise priorities into differentiated employee and HR outcomes. This role leads roadmap execution and value delivery across the domain, with responsibility for shaping product direction, accelerating adoption, and improving experience, efficiency, and operational performance.
Operating within the HR Digital product model, this leader partners across HR COEs, Global Services, Experience Owners, Digital, Data, Engineering, and Delivery teams to drive end-to-end product outcomes across employee transition and experience journeys. The role serves as the primary product owner for the assigned domain, with accountability for business outcomes, adoption, and operational health, while partnering closely with the Director, HR Digital Product Management – Workforce Transitions & Employee Experience on portfolio alignment, prioritization, and investment tradeoffs.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
Strategic Product Ownership (45%)
Contribute to the domain-level product strategy and roadmap for Workforce Transitions & Employee Experience, aligned to enterprise HR vision and portfolio priorities.
Translate enterprise needs, HR operating models, and workforce insights into cohesive end-to-end product experiences, including redesigned workflows, business rules, and role-based interactions.
Define and track outcome-based success metrics measuring experience, efficiency, data integrity, and operational performance.
Manage the product lifecycle across Innovate → Grow → Sustain, identifying opportunities to simplify, scale, or retire capabilities.
Contribute to value hypotheses and benefits realization for domain-level investments.
Delivery & Cross-Functional Leadership (35%)
Lead cross-functional product squads, partnering with Product Delivery, Experience Design, Data, Engineering, and HR Operations.
Own backlog prioritization, dependency management, and delivery sequencing within the domain.
Partner with HR COEs and Global Experience Owners to balance global standards and local needs.
Identify risks, tradeoffs, and constraints, escalating appropriately to the Product Line Leader.
Ensure high-quality execution, adoption, and operational readiness of delivered capabilities.
Continuous Improvement & Enablement (20%)
Represent the voice of employees, managers, and HR partners through continuous discovery and feedback loops.
Drive continuous improvement through data-driven insights and operational learning.
Mentor Managers and Analysts, strengthening product craft, data fluency, and HR technology capability.
Contribute to product standards, patterns, and ways of working across HR Digital.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is .
A minimum of 7–10 years of experience in product management, HR technology, digital product delivery, or related roles is .
A minimum of 5 years of HR or HR-adjacent experience is .
Proven experience owning domain-level product strategy and delivery, with accountability for measurable business and experience outcomes.
Strong understanding of HR operating models, employee lifecycle processes, and digital platform ecosystems.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in complex, matrixed environments and influence across organizational boundaries.
Proficiency in modern product management and agile delivery practices, including backlog management, prioritization, and iterative value delivery.
Ability to translate complex process and technology concepts into clear product direction, decisions, and execution priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
Hands-on experience with Workday and broader HR digital ecosystems is preferred.
Experience applying automation, analytics, or AI to HR workflows and employee experiences is preferred.
