Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week Length:
12 months, with strong potential for extension or conversion
Position Overview: Your role is pivotal in ensuring the successful execution of these critical initiatives. Here’s what you’ll be responsible for:
Leadership and Coordination: Collaborate with 3rd-party Engineering firms and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) responsible for project design. Serve as the
Company Engineering Lead
for assigned projects, managing all aspects of engineering activities. Coordinate overall engineering efforts between the Company, Developer, Architect Engineer (A/E), and OEMs.
Deliverables and Design: Ensure timely production of engineering deliverables. Verify that designs align with stakeholder expectations.
Problem Solving: Address technical issues and constraints promptly to maintain project timelines. Regularly update the project team and stakeholders on engineering progress.
Basic Qualifications: To excel in this role, you should meet the following requirements: Typically acquired
6 or more years
of related engineering experience along with a
Bachelor’s degree in engineering
from a program accredited by
ABET . Alternatively,
4+ years
of related engineering experience along with a
Master’s degree or PhD in engineering
from an ABET-accredited program. Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE)
in any U.S. state or Puerto Rico is
encouraged and preferred . Minimum 5 years experience overseeing multi-discipline engineering work. PE Preferred. Occasional Travel: You’ll occasionally travel to Company generation facilities, with some overnight travel required.
