This is an exciting new role at Micron! As a Senior Category Supplier Manager, you will lead trade labor and trades programs for large capital projects. These projects are across the eastern United States. Your primary focus will be mega-fab construction in Clay, New York, and ongoing operations in Manassas, Virginia. This role operates at the intersection of construction project execution, labor planning, and workforce coordination, ensuring reliable delivery of skilled trades labor for complex manufacturing and semiconductor building projects.\n\nYou will work closely with general contractors, trade contractors, unions, and workforce organizations. Your role includes completing labor-related programs, reducing labor-supply risks, and supporting schedule and cost certainty on multiple construction projects happening at the same time.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nLead execution of construction labor strategies in support of large\u2011scale industrial and semiconductor construction projects (including new fab builds, tool installs, sustaining construction, and expansion efforts) serving as Micron\u2019s point of coordination for construction labor topics and raising risks and constraints to protect safety, quality, and schedule commitments.\n\nSupport prime builders in delivering stable, skilled labor to meet ambitious construction timelines and production targets.\n\nBuild and maintain strong working relationships with prime contractors, specialty contractors, union leadership, and trade partners to ensure alignment on labor plans, efficiency expectations, and compliance requirements.\n\nSupport the execution of labor agreements, contract renewals, and pricing structures tied to construction trades.\n\nProvide labor\u2011rate benchmarking, should\u2011cost analysis, and market intelligence to support project budgeting and forecasting.\n\nMonitor labor performance trends, efficiency indicators, and supplier outcomes to inform project and sourcing decisions.\n\nPartner with internal collaborators to manage cost pressures while upholding safety standards, high quality, and workforce reliability.\n\nLead and support workforce development initiatives in collaboration with unions, schools, training centers, community organizations, and industry partners.\n\nLeverage AI\u2011enabled tools and data analytics to streamline labor\u2011program management, track performance trends, and improve decision\u2011making speed and accuracy.\n\nMinimum Qualifications\n\n3\u20135 years of experience in construction project management, construction sourcing, labor\u2011program management, or capital project delivery.\n\nBachelor\u2019s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent experience in the field.\n\nConfirmed experience supporting large\u2011scale construction projects, industrial builds, or capital programs.\n\nHands\u2011on experience coordinating construction workforce initiatives on active jobsites , including working alongside field construction teams, superintendents, or project controls, with responsibility for union engagement, workforce planning, and compliance oversight.\n\nStrong deal-making, problem\u2011solving, and cost\u2011management skills.\n\nConfirmed ability to be a phenomenal partner across prime contractors, subcontractors, labor organizations, and external partners.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nExperience supporting workforce initiatives for mega fabs, semiconductor facilities, or complex industrial environments.\n\nFamiliarity with Project Labor Agreements (PLAs) and labor-program adherence on large construction projects.\n\nExperience working with multi\u2011site or high\u2011volume construction programs.\n\nBackground in workforce development, skilled\u2011trades pipeline expansion, or community\u2011based labor initiatives.\n\nStrong analytical skills, including use of labor\u2011market data and cost modeling to aid project execution.\n\nJob Profile(s):\n\nConstruction Procurement 4 - Construction Procurement 5\n\nRelocation Level: TBD\n\nBefore Getting Started \nPlease review Micron\u2019s Internal Job Application Policy on your regional PeopleNow Career Opportunities page before searching and applying for jobs. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base pay for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training. The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs.
