Salary: $160,000 - $200,000
Job Summary:
As a Senior Project Manager at Fassberg Construction Company, you will play a key leadership role in overseeing complex construction projects from inception to completion. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the project, including budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication. The Senior Project Manager is expected to provide strategic direction, mentorship to junior staff, and ensure the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multiple construction projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with the project team and stakeholders.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing issues or risks as they arise.
- Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders, including progress, budget, and potential risks.
- Mentor and coach junior project management staff, providing guidance and support to facilitate their professional development.
- Manage client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact for project-related inquiries and concerns.
- Oversee procurement activities, including the selection and negotiation of contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management within the construction industry, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively lead multidisciplinary project teams and communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Extensive knowledge of construction processes, methods, and materials, as well as relevant building codes and regulations.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering results and overcoming challenges.
- PMP or other relevant project management certifications are preferred.
- Ability to travel to project sites as needed.
- 10+ years of experience in large-scale commercial construction projects as a General Contractor.
- Proven track record of successfully managing projects of similar scope and scale, including mixed-use housing with 300+ units.
