Senior Project Manager - Mechanical Construction

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager,  Mechanical Construction, to lead and oversee large-scale commercial and industrial HVAC/mechanical construction projects in Rochester, MN. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the nations leading mechanical contractors, where youll manage projects from planning through completion while ensuring safety, quality, and client satisfaction.

As a Senior Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for driving project success through effective planning, budgeting, scheduling, and team leadership. You'll work closely with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and field teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and at the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide project management support throughout all phases of mechanical/HVAC construction projects.
• Ensure safety compliance and promote a proactive safety culture.
• Oversee the scope of work, scheduling, and field resource allocation.
• Manage procurement, document control, and contract administration.
• Lead cost estimation, financial management, and budget tracking.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships to support repeat business and sales growth.
• Collaborate with the sales team on proposals, bids, and business development initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with legal, contractual, and company requirements.

Qualifications Required:

• 8+ years of construction project management experience in mechanical/HVAC systems.
• Strong ability to read, interpret, and manage construction documents.
• Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and industry principles.
• Solid understanding of business operations, financial management, and customer relations.
• Ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications Preferred:

• Experience in business development and project sales strategies.
• Understanding of legal aspects of the construction industry.
• Strong background in business administration and management.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive Salary: $100,000 - $151,000 (based on experience and qualifications)
