Sikich Site Selection and Incentives practice is a prominent firm specializing in providing expert guidance to businesses seeking optimal locations for expansion and relocation. Our dedicated team works closely with clients to navigate the complex landscape of site selection, incentives negotiation, and economic development opportunities at the local, state, and federal levels. We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in helping businesses thrive and expand.

As a Senior Project Manager, working closely with the Director of the Site Selection practice, you will be at the forefront of guiding clients through the site selection process and identifying growth opportunities. You will provide strategic insights and support to businesses aiming to optimize their operations and take full advantage of economic development incentives. Your work will be crucial to our clients' expansion and relocation success. Here are the key responsibilities and qualifications for this role:

Key Responsibilities:

Client Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for your clients, understanding their unique business objectives and developing tailored site selection strategies.
Site Selection: Lead site selection projects, working with the data analytics team at Sikich and other SSI team members, conducting comprehensive analyses of geographic, demographic, and logistical factors to identify ideal locations for client expansion.
Incentives Negotiation and Assessment: Negotiate and evaluate available local, state, and federal incentive programs, assisting clients in making informed decisions regarding the utilization of these opportunities.
Project Management: Develop and manage project plans, outlining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements to ensure successful execution.
New Business: Network, collaborate, and acquire clients.
Team Leadership: Work with the SSI team on multiple fronts, giving guidance and ensuring tasks are delegated effectively and tasks are completed on time.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders, including government agencies, economic development organizations, and real estate and legal experts, to facilitate incentives negotiation and site selection.
Financial Analysis: Perform and/or review in-depth financial analysis, including cost-benefit assessments, ROI calculations, and incentive impact evaluations, to support informed decision-making.
Compliance and Reporting: Work with the SSI compliance team to ensure clients' adherence to incentive agreements, track performance, and provide regular reports.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, or related field; advanced degree or industry certifications are a plus.
Proven experience in economic development, site selection, or related fields with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
In-depth knowledge of economic development strategies, site selection methodologies, and local, state, and some federal incentive programs.
Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Proficiency in financial analysis and modeling.
Leadership experience and a track record of mentoring and guiding teams.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, with expectation to meet deadlines.
