As a Senior Project Manager you'll be the driving force behind our construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You'll lead a talented team, overseeing every stage of the project life-cycle, from planning and scheduling to execution and closeout.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals, assemble the right team, and develop a comprehensive project plan.
Manage all project resources effectively, including budget, personnel, materials, and equipment.
Implement clear communication channels and adeptly resolve any conflicts that may arise.
Oversee the entire construction process, ensuring adherence to deadlines, quality control measures, and safety protocols.
Develop and maintain project schedules, adapting them as needed to meet project demands.
Foster strong relationships with contractors, engineers, consultants, and other project partners.
Conduct regular site inspections and progress monitoring, keeping all stakeholders informed.
Manage project financials, keeping costs under control and mitigating risks.
Ensure all project documentation is complete and accurate.
Identify potential areas of dispute and develop strategies to manage them.
Act as a liaison between the project team and the client, ensuring their satisfaction with the final deliverables.
Experience:
A bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management (preferred).
At least 4 years of experience in construction project management.
A commitment to safety, with the ability to create and maintain a safe work environment.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Proficiency in project management software like Microsoft Project.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
In-depth knowledge of construction practices, legal considerations, and safety regulations.
The ability to manage time effectively and make sound decisions under pressure.
A willingness to travel to project sites.
A focus on quality and a passion for exceeding expectations.
