CORY is hiring a detail-oriented and motivated Senior Property Accountant in San Antonio, TX. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing, real estate firm that is consistently growing their footprint nationally.

About Our Client:

Our client is a 3rd party, fee-managed firm, focused on conventional, market-rate and affordable multifamily housing and dedicated to building a best-in-class portfolio.

Your Responsibilities:

• Oversee a team of 4-5 accountants, providing consistent leadership and guidance
• Review and approve monthly financial statements
• Confirm rental income and expenses match actual bank activity across all properties
• Monitor cash flow across bank accounts and ensure funds are moving where they should
• Ensure mortgage payments, insurance, and property taxes are paid accurately and on time
• Prepare financial reports for monthly P&L review meetings with leadership

The Skills and Experience You Bring:

• 1 to 3 years of accounting experience, specifically in multifamily as a senior or manager
• Comfortable reconciling property management financials against bank activity
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple properties simultaneously
• Self-sufficient and comfortable working on a lean team
• Clear communicator who can present financial information directly to ownership
