Senior Python Engineer

As we continue to grow, we are currently looking for Python Engineers. You will work closely with the Engineering Manager. Product Analyst's/Managers to refine user stories and requirements and identify, prioritize and execute tasks within the software development life cycle. 

• Develop and maintain Python applications
  

• Design and deliver reliable, readable, and maintainable code
  

• Translate business requirements into technical solutions
  

• Implement new features, perform code reviews, provide technical support, and resolve bugs
  

• Contribute to system architecture design and create technical documentation
  

• Actively participate in code reviews and help improve overall engineering standards
  

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members, both verbally and in writing, regarding technical solutions and project progress

Our tech -stack is continually evolving but to give you a flavour of what we’re currently working with here are some of the tools we use;
Languages: Python
Tools: Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, cloud AWS, Grafana, Firebase

Methodologies: Agile, Scrum; we have 14 day sprints and SU are held online using Slack

Requirements

• At least 4 -5 years of experience as Software Developer.
  Should have an experience with fintech processes and big plus knowledge of cards issuing/processing.
  Clean coding methodologies (SOLID, YAGNI).
  Fluency in SQL, Python, Unix/bash scripting.
  Ability to write easily understandable and maintainable code in multiple programming languages.
  Experience with SQL databases {PostgreSQL, MySQL}.
  Good understanding and working knowledge of Django.
  Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence.
  Experience in working in cross -functional teams is an advantage.
  Exellent communication skills.
