Job Description - Senior Python Engineer (f,m,d remote)

We’re hiring a Senior Python Engineer to take a key role in improving our product. If you have senior-level experience in designing and building scalable data solutions, we’d love to hear from you.

You’ll focus on our data application that powers diagnostics, insights, and recommendations for our Flutter mobile app. You’ll have the opportunity to research new solutions, integrate GenAI, and play a key role in delivering innovative features to our users.

You’ll be involved in everything from product concept discussions to data analysis in SQL and Jupyter, collaborating closely with the Health & Science team to validate findings and implement algorithms into the backend using PostgreSQL and Python.

Help plan our short- and long-term feature roadmap
Stay informed about emerging technologies and trends

Essential skills

3+ years of Python experience
5+ years of professional software engineering experience
Senior-level SQL expertise (PostgreSQL)
Strong data expertise and ability to extract meaningful insights
Clear and effective written communication in English

Bonus skills

Experience with AWS services
Familiarity with GitHub, Docker, and DevOps workflows
Experience with Node.js and/or Flutter
Prior experience in a startup environment
