Senior QA Automation Engineer with Playwright experience (Remote)

Location: Juno Beach - FL

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent related work experience.

5-9 years of in-depth experience in Software Testing & Automation frameworks & tools for the web-based applications.

Roles and Responsibilities

Develop Automation Framework from Scratch

using Playwright tool with TypeScript / JavaScript

.

Design and implement automated test scripts using

Playwright tool

for Web Based applications.

Collaborate cross functional team to understand automation testing requirements and create automation solution.

Execute automated test cases and analyze test results to identify defects and performance issues.

Debug and troubleshoot test failures and work with Development team to resolve the issues.

Continuously improve automated suite for efficiency, readability, and maintainability.

Required Skills
•

Good Hands-on Experience in Playwright Tool with TypeScript / Java Script for writing automated test scripts

.
•Experience in creating the automation framework from scratch.
•Develop, maintain & execute the automation scripts for Integration testing across different systems.
•Experience with version control systems (e.g. GitHub) and continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
•Good in automation Efforts Estimations for manual regression test cases and performing automation feasibility for the test cases.
•Familiar with Agile / Scrum methodology.
•Technical Skills Test - SQL, Agile Scrum, Jira, Qmetry, Orace DB
•oft Skills - Good Communication, collaborate with cross functional team, Problem solving, reporting.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until 05/10/2024.

The annual salary for this position is between $[80,000 - $105,000] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
