Senior QA Engineer (Automation)

Job Description:

The responsibilities of the Sr. QA Engineer at Clean Power Finance includes:

• Develop state-of-the-art automation framework and tools (to test UI and Apis)


• Automate tests that are robust and maintainable


• Participate in the planning, development and testing of key features provide feedback on testability during design reviews


• Develop test plans/ cases


• Execute tests both automated and manual to effectively validate releases.


• Monitor health of live site and provide great quality of service


• Ability to work independently with a small QA team


• Effectively work with cross functional teams

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of professional software testing and development experience of web applications


• Strong development skills in C/Java/PHP (1 object oriented language and 1 scripting language)


• Proficient in writing database queries


• Proven capabilities in building test automation solutions from scratch for complex distributed web applications


• Proven track record of documenting test cases with effective coverage


• Proven track record working in an agile environment highly desired


• Excellent oral and written communication skills along with strong team skills are required


• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline required

Preferred Qualifications:

• UI automation with Selenium Webdriver


• Familiarity with CI automation


• Load testing
