Senior QA Testing & Automation

• IT is a 100% Onsite position in McLean, VA
  


• Duration: Contract (with potential for extension)
  
  

• Lead and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities across the modernization program lifecycle.
  


• Design, develop, and execute automated and manual test cases aligned to business requirements.
  


• Collaborate with stakeholders to validate requirements and ensure traceability to test scenarios.
  


• Manage and assess change requests, ensuring appropriate testing coverage and impact analysis.
  


• Support cutover planning and execution, ensuring readiness for production deployment.
  

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in QA Testing
  


• UAT (Manual & Automated Testing) expertise
  


• Hands-on experience with Automation Tools
  


• Proven experience in UAT, QA testing, and test automation within complex programs
  


• Strong understanding of business analysis skills, requirements gathering, and validation processes
  


• Experience working in financial services, ideally within banking or payments environments
  


• Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks)
  


• Strong stakeholder communication skills with the ability to work across business and technology teams
  


• Experience supporting large-scale modernization or transformation programs
  


• Knowledge of test management tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM, TestRail)
  


• Exposure to Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies
  


• Experience with data validation and integration testing
  


• Understanding of release management and cutover strategies.
