Job Description - Senior QC Specialist

Job Summary:

Senior QC Specialists are essential to a large team that delivers extreme service on a new project for mobile phone operators. The primary function will be to ensure adherence to policy and procedures and maintain the highest quality standard for client lease term agreements & documentation; secondary functions include database research, electronic document management, and internal customer service interactions with client and business units. Team member must be an Expert-level QC Specialist working Quality Control of Abstraction/ Property Management, Special Projects & Escalations. Responsible for assisting the Project Manager with new hire training; reviewing internal QC; managing special mini projects; completing complex assignments, escalations, priority corrections; and more. Primary goals and responsibilities:

· Review and approve abstraction lease terms for use in data management systems.

· Identify and record inaccurate or missing data fields to be corrected by abstraction and or property management.

· Comfortable communicating with clients and internal business units.

· Maintain required production and accuracy standards

· Actively collaborate with VZ QC team on monitoring rejection rates

· Assist with new hire training and reviewing internal QC

· Manage mini projects along with keeping up <45 day SLA

· Review complex assignments, escalations and priority events

Key Characteristics to be successful in this role:

Skills

1. Detailed knowledge of relevant statutory and regulatory requirements.

2. Review and understand term requests and evaluate documentation requirements.

3. Ensure client reference data is correctly reflected in all documentation.

4. Record QC results into appropriate systems. Internal and External Systems.

5. Work with a sense of urgency to provide timely feedback to the abstraction and property management team regarding missing or inaccurate data elements for resolution.

6. Self-motivated & Ability to balance shifting priorities

7. Computer proficiency (comfortable with spreadsheets, and data systems)

8. Maintain error rate <5%

9. Experience with internal audit process

Reports to Onyx Carrington Status Full Time

FLSA Classification Hourly Type Regular

 

Experience

1. Knowledge of all package/action item types

2. 18 months of quality contract review specialist experience

3. Internal QC error rate <2.5%

4. Experience working in contract management, workflow, CRM or similar systems

Employment Type Full-Time Employment

Internal Employees MUST be in stationed in the Allen, TX office to be considered for this role.
