Senior QC Underwriter

The Senior QC Underwriter is responsible for overseeing and executing quality control procedures across operational workflows, with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and process improvement. This role is critical in minimizing risk and maintaining the quality standards required in a compliance-heavy, high-volume environment. This position reports to the Vice President of Enterprise Risk.

This is an in-office position based out of our Huntersville, NC - Denver, CO - OR Las Vegas, NV office.

Essential Functions:

• Lead day-to-day quality control activities across operational and data entry teams

• Audit and verify accuracy of underwriting and due diligence quality, document compliance, customer agreements, case data, and payment terms
• Assist in the development and maintenance of QC processes, checklists, audit tools, and reporting dashboards
• Identify trends and recurring issues, and recommend process or training improvements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (legal, operations, law firm and medical provider relations) to resolve discrepancies and ensure process alignment
• Mentor Junior QC underwriters, as needed
• Provide quality performance reports to management and senior leaders
• Participate in system upgrades or process automation initiatives from a quality perspective

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years of experience in underwriting, auditing, or operations within consumer funding, healthcare, or legal/insurance industries
• Strong knowledge of financing processes, HIPAA, documentation standards a plus
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Excellent problem-solving and prioritization skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with case management software or document management systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
• Leadership experience is a plus
• Must be able to work in-office at either our Huntersville, NC - Denver, CO - OR Las Vegas, NV office
