We are seeking a Senior Quality & Compliance Manager to lead and manage quality, security, and compliance programs within a transportation and logistics environment in Glenwood, IL. This full-time role is ideal for a hands-on, experienced professional capable of independently overseeing industry certifications, regulatory standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
As the Senior Quality & Compliance Manager, you will ensure the organization meets all internal and external compliance requirements, lead audits, develop SOPs, and serve as the subject-matter expert on quality and security standards. This position offers autonomy, authority, and the opportunity to make a significant impact in a stable logistics operation.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage quality, security, and compliance programs across logistics and transportation operations in Glenwood, IL
Own and maintain compliance with TAPA, CTPAT, AMEX9, Bonded Carrier certifications, and ISO standards
Prepare for, lead, and oversee internal and external audits to ensure regulatory adherence
Develop, implement, and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to quality, risk, and security
Monitor and maintain ongoing compliance with U.S. and international transportation regulations
Collaborate with operations and leadership teams to identify risks, corrective actions, and process improvements
Serve as the organization’s subject-matter expert for quality, security, and regulatory requirements
Maintain thorough documentation, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives
Demonstrated hands-on experience with TAPA, CTPAT, AMEX9, Bonded Carrier Certification, and ISO standards
Background in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or freight operations
Experience leading audits and managing compliance programs end-to-end
Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision
Strong analytical, documentation, and organizational skills
Professional, executive-level communication and leadership abilities
Detail-oriented with a proactive, problem-solving approach
Annual salary: $110,000 – $140,000, depending on experience
