Senior Radiation Therapist - Travel Position
Location: Sheboygan, WI
Job Type: Travel Contract
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 3x12s Days
Pay: $2629/week
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Radiation Therapist to join our team. This role is responsible for administering prescribed radiation treatments, ensuring patient safety, and mentoring junior staff. The Senior Radiation Therapist will work closely with physicians, physicists, and nurses to deliver high-quality, compassionate care to oncology patients. The ideal candidate brings advanced technical skills, leadership experience, and a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments with accuracy and precision.
Prepare and position patients while ensuring comfort and safety.
Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, following established protocols.
Monitor patient responses, record treatment data, and report concerns to physicians.
Serve as a mentor and resource for junior radiation therapists and staff.
Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
Collaborate with the care team to optimize treatment outcomes.
Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program
Active ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, COVID vaccine, recent TB test
Minimum 1–2 years of radiation therapy experience
Strong technical skills
