We’re seeking a Senior R&D Engineering Manager to join our innovative team in Poestenkill, NY.

In this pivotal role, you'll lead the electrical design of advanced DSI equipment, overseeing projects from concept through certification. Key responsibilities include wiring and control system development, PLC programming, and managing technical documentation and engineering changes.

You’ll ensure compliance with safety standards, liaise with certifying bodies, and collaborate across design, production, and service teams. This role also offers opportunities to mentor junior engineers, influence production practices, and help drive a culture of innovation and safety.

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology

5-8 years of hands-on electrical design experience in industrial or R&D environments

Advanced proficiency in electrical system design and schematic development

Experience with PLC programming and control system architecture

Knowledge of industrial communication standards and protocols

Demonstrated experience with Bills of Material (BOM) management

Understanding of electrical safety standards and certification processes

• The pay range for this position is $150,000 - $170,000 per year depending on experience.
