Job Description - Senior Recruiter

Senior Recruiter – Oak Ridge, TN (Onsite)

Our client is seeking a dynamic and skilled Senior Recruiter in Oak Ridge, TN. The ideal candidate will be a talent acquisition professional with proven expertise in identifying, attracting, and recruiting top-tier talent.

Key Responsibilities

Recruit across technical, professional, and administrative staff positions.

Leverage advanced sourcing techniques, with particular emphasis on LinkedIn and other professional networking platforms.

Develop and maintain robust relationships with educational institutions, professional networks (career fairs, job fairs, community events), and recruitment firms.

Collaborate closely with hiring managers to define precise candidate requirements.

Conduct in-depth interviews and candidate assessments to identify the most qualified talent.

  • Extend job offers and coordinate candidate onboarding and relocation processes.
  • Manage and optimize the company's personnel advertising and recruitment marketing efforts.
  • Stay current with employment laws, staffing trends, and recruitment best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Sourcing Expertise

  • Advanced LinkedIn recruiting skills, including:
  • Advanced search techniques
  • Boolean search string creation
  • Candidate pipeline development
  • InMail and networking strategies
  • Proven track record of successfully sourcing candidates through multiple channels
  • Expert-level talent identification and screening capabilities

Technical Competencies

  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Word and Excel
  • Experience with HR information systems
  • Advanced knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS)

Professional Capabilities

  • Comprehensive understanding of staffing fundamentals
  • In-depth knowledge of interviewing and candidate selection techniques
  • Strong working knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with staff at all organizational levels

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 7-10 years of professional recruiting experience
  • Demonstrated success in full-cycle recruitment
  • Certification in recruiting or HR (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus
