Infotainment.com is a small business but growing fast! We specialize in factory automobile radio & accessory upgrades for Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep/RAM, Ford, GM, and Toyota. Candidate must be an automotive enthusiast, quick learner, team player, express a positive attitude, pay attention to detail and have an excellent work ethic to be considered.

Job Responsibilities: Sr Technicians perform analysis and repairs on Automotive Infotainment systems. Support lower-level technicians by troubleshooting issues on repairs.

Education: Associate of Science (A.S.) degree or equivalent trade school in Electronic Technology or related Field is required. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electronics or related Science field is preferred.

Experience: At least 5 years of experience in the Maintenance and repair of a variety of electronic and scientific equipment is required.

Required Skills:

• Thorough understanding of electronics principles
  

• Ability to Perform mechanical, electrical, and/or component-level troubleshooting
  

• Knowledge of electronics equipment, Microscope, including DVM, oscilloscope, and bench power supply
  

• Proficient with reading schematics and printed circuit board layout
  

• Has extensive experience with PCBs/mechanical assemblies.
  

• Strong experience with soldering and rework of fine pitch surface mount and through hole components, including BGA chips.
  

• Understands and follows best ESD practices when handling and working with circuit boards.
  

Desired Skills:

• AM/FM Tuning circuits
  

• DC power supplies
  

• GPS & Telematics systems.
  

• CAN bus communication
  

• DVD/CD optical drives and HDD drives (Automotive level)
  

• Audio amplifiers, Automotive Clusters.
  

Starting Yearly Salary: $50,000.00
