Senior Reporter

Salary: $75,000 - 110,000, depending on experience

Location: New York (3 days in our office)

We are looking for someone who is hungry to break exclusive stories by getting out of the office to meet and develop a wide source network. This position will cover US hedge fund launches, performance and talent for an audience of allocators, managers and service providers. Our readers look to our stories to get actionable intelligence that only we can provide on the industry.

Based in New York, you will work alongside an energetic team of journalists that share a desire to be a part of the hedge fund community. You will also be part of a global editorial team of over 100 journalists that prioritizes source development and relationship building. The hedge fund coverage is an integral part of the business, and we are eager to find someone that is looking forward to continuing that growth.

Responsibilities include:

• Maintain a strong balance of independent and team-driven approach to work
• Build and maintain a contact book of senior industry professionals
• Break exclusive hedge fund news with an intelligent and authoritative tone
• Represent With Intelligence at a range of events in New York City and across the country

• Must be willing to work in our New York at least three days a week
• Attend occasional evening networking events
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Willingness to handle multiple stories at once
• No prior hedge fund reporting experience is needed
• Asset management reporting experience is preferred
