Must be located in the Mid-Atlantic States, able to drive to meetings monthly in Mechanicsburg, PA or Norfolk, VA
US Citizenship Required@Orchard LLC is a sub-contractor on a recently awarded engagement within the US Navy (NAVSUP) and we have been asked to supply a Sr. Requirements Analyst to work from home with some travel monthly to Mechanicsburg, PA, and Norfolk, VA. The selected individual must be able to drive to each location as needed.
Description:
The successful candidate will play a critical role in documenting and refining user stories and functional requirements for the Navy’s Naval Operational Supply System (NOSS) enterprise system. The ideal candidate will have experience with mapping business processes, data modeling, developing modern business methods, identifying best practices, and creating and assessing performance measurements. The candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to challenging and changing situations quickly while being able to facilitate the completion of multiple tasks and assignments.
As a Senior Requirements Analyst, your work will include.
- Provide business process analysis, reengineering, and optimization services in support of the Navy’s Naval Operational Supply System (NOSS) implementation effort.
- Analyze existing information systems to document requirements and functionality of NAVSUP business processes.
- Serve as a business process liaison between contractor teams, stakeholders, and functional process owners to achieve business reform objectives.
- Interview supply chain process owners and stakeholders to establish business process maps, requirements, pain points/gaps, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Conduct research and interviews to assess and identify organizational misalignments and areas for efficiency improvement.
- In a collaborative environment, aids in designing more efficient supply chain business processes and requirements.
Collaborate with functional, technical, and budgetary counterparts to support program management efforts. - Collaborate with colleagues to produce valid and accurately written technical content for various products (e.g., briefings, narratives, and justifications).
- Develop and present project status presentations using Microsoft Suite.
Your background will include.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- A minimum of 8 years of IT experience, BA/BS engineering or related IT, prefer experience with process analysis and information systems integration.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to lead and facilitate business process design and development workshops.
- Business Process Improvement/Reengineering experience.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development.
- Supply Chain Management experience.
- Experience using BPMN 2.0 notation and Microsoft Visio.
- Experience collaborating with multiple organizations on IT delivery projects.
Preferred experience
- NAVSUP experience or Navy Supply Chain Management experience.
- Lean Six Sigma Certification.
- Project Management Certification (PMP).
- Strong technical process writing ability.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Knowledge of SAP.
