The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting post-payment audits to identify and recover overpayments and other financial discrepancies from our client’s vendors, suppliers, and other business partners. This is a critical role that requires strong analytical, technical, and communication skills to drive revenue recovery and minimize financial losses.  The Work -  Analyze financial data and transactional information to identify trends, anomalies, and potential recovery opportunities. Review and verify invoices, contracts, purchase orders, emails, and other documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with policies and procedures. Identify and document discrepancies, errors, and irregularities in financial transactions and communicate findings to management and other stakeholders. Collaborate with external vendors, suppliers, and other business partners to resolve disputes and recover funds owed to the company. Prepare and present audit findings and recommendations to management and other stakeholders. The Must-Haves -  Must be completely fluent in the English language. Must be a US Citizen or authorized to work in the US withouth sponsorship. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.  Experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Minimum of 7 years of experience in auditing, with concentration in retail post-payment audit and recovery. Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and identify discrepancies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate findings and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify and analyze financial discrepancies and anomalies. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
