The role 


 


As a Senior Sales Account Executive you will take ownership of a pipeline consisting of Liberis’ largest and most high-value opportunities, guiding them from initial contact to successful funding. Our unique partnership model generates a substantial volume of qualified, inbound leads, which our skilled Sales team excels at converting. 


In this role, you’ll engage directly with business owners to understand their funding needs, present the Liberis solution, and support them throughout the process to secure funding. Internally, you’ll collaborate closely with teams across Partnerships, Operations, and Risk to ensure an outstanding customer experience from start to finish. 


 


 


What you’ll be doing 


 



  • Manage a pipeline of high-value new customers, taking full ownership from initial contact to onboarding as live customers 

  • Leverage a combination of inbound and outbound sales strategies across multiple channels, utilizing Liberis’ sales tools such as Gong and Salesforce 

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate seamless onboarding, ensuring successful initial funding before transitioning customers to the Renewals team for ongoing support and future funding opportunities 

  • Deliver a premium, consultative experience for customers, maintaining a “white glove” standard of service 

  • Gather feedback, iterate on strategies, and identify winning approaches for Liberis in the US market. Document learnings from trials and tests to establish best practices adopted across Liberis globally 

  • Advocate for US merchants internally, ensuring their needs are championed, while representing Liberis externally as a trusted partner 

  • Serve as a role model and mentor, providing guidance and support to junior members of the sales team 


 


 


What we think you’ll need 


 


We believe you’ll excel in this role if you have: 


 



  • 3-5 years of experience in selling loans or MCAs 

  • A proven track record of success in complex, high-value sales processes, consistently hitting and exceeding targets 

  • A strategic, process-driven approach to selling, with excellent time management and prioritization skills 

  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build strong, lasting relationships 

  • A high level of numeracy and comfort working with data 

  • A collaborative mindset, thriving as part of a team to achieve shared goals 

  • A goal-oriented and positive attitude, with a problem-solving approach that actively seeks creative solutions to overcome challenges and drive continuous improvement 

  • Have used Salesforce CRM experience
