Job Description - Senior Sales Associate

Based in Jefferson, WI, Basin Precision Machining (BPM) is a respected third-party manufacturer specializing in high-quality, precision-machined components. With a reputation built on excellence, reliability, and innovation, we serve industry leaders in aerospace, agriculture, automotive, defense, energy, heavy equipment, and hydraulics. At BPM, we foster a collaborative environment where innovation and client success fuel our growth.

We specialize in components such as hydraulic manifolds, gears, sprockets, shafts, brake and steering components, transmission housings, and other complex parts integral to industrial and automotive systems.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a seasoned sales leader who:

  • Has a proven track record of success in technical B2B sales within manufacturing or machining sectors
  •  Possesses a strong network of decision-makers (engineering, procurement, operations, executive leadership) in our served industries
  • Understands how to sell complex, value-added manufacturing solutions
  • Is a strategic thinker and independent self-starter, capable of identifying and pursuing new opportunities with minimal oversight
  • Is motivated by the opportunity to earn significant commission through performance, rather than relying on a high base salary

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across target sectors
  • Leverage existing industry contacts to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth
  • Lead client engagement from initial outreach through proposal, negotiation, and close
  • Partner with internal engineering and production teams to ensure alignment and client satisfaction
  • Represent BPM professionally at industry events, conferences, and client meetings
