Job Description - Senior Sales Consultant

Senior Sales Consultant – Financial Services Firm – San Mateo (onsite daily) – $100-200K base + commission (

depending on experience)

Our client, a well-established, finance firm functions within a smaller, boutique setting, cultivating an environment where individuals can genuinely contribute in a meaningful way. With over 20 years in business, they prioritize the development of their staff, boasting an average tenure of over a decade.

Responsibilities:
Make a high-volume of cold calls per day to prospective clients to set up new meetings (which you will attend and lead)
Follow up on technical analysis and other due diligence queries arising from meetings and calls
Diligently strive to surpass daily and monthly sales activity targets
Responsibly and promptly address client inquires and request
Utilize firm resources, including third party contact databases and Salesforce CRM, to research and identify qualified prospective clients
Maintain, update, and conduct research for the firm's Salesforce CRM system
Contribute to the firm’s marketing and sales strategy by creating sales plans tailored to specific client types and developing competitive strategies
Stay informed about current equity market and economic trends

Qualifications:
Must live within SF/bay area
Bachelor’s degree required; Finance, Economics, or Business major is a plus but not required
CFA, CIMA, CAIA, or CFP certification is a plus, but not required.
Must have 1-2 years of experience with cold calling and be enthusiastic about frequent cold calling
Must be willing to travel - you will be travelling domestically
Ability to work toward exceeding daily and monthly sales activity quotas
Minimum of 1 year of recent sales experience with a demonstrated track record of sales success - ideally from consulting, finance, technology, etc.
Ability to understand and discuss sophisticated equity investment strategies with prospective clients
Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
Ability to work in a boutique firm with minimal supervision.
High level of personal integrity
