Job Description - Senior Sales Director -TOLA

Gigamon is seeking a

Senior Sales Director to play a pivotal role in our TOLA region . The Senior Sales Director will manage an established and productive team and set the strategic direction for the region to achieve revenue goals.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Sales team management: hire, mentor, coach, and lead by example.
Accountable for Southeast region business performance and hitting all revenue and other performance targets.
Create, maintain, and execute the regional business plan, which should have goals and objectives that align with the company’s strategic direction.
Lead, drive, and grow sales opportunities for both new and existing enterprise customers.
Manage major accounts. Develop exceptional client relationships to support the company’s partnership strategy. Coordinate resources, including product and sales engineering support.
Provide timely communication and follow-up to customers and partners, consistently meeting customer expectations.
Develop regional channel strategy and build/run the channel model for the Southeast.
Work effectively within a team environment to maximize revenue potential and ensure customer success.
Forecasts with a high degree of accuracy through Salesforce.
Provide innovative problem-solving approaches to enhance organizational capabilities; use peer network to expand technical and sales capabilities and identify new sales opportunities.
In collaboration with Product Managers, develop short and long-range strategies for product expansion; assess the potential application of the company products to meet customer needs; and prepare detailed product specifications for developing, implementing, and customizing customer solutions.
Represent Sales on cross-functional teams interfacing with R&D, production, and manufacturing to develop new products or enhance existing products or product lines.
Provide pertinent market and competitive information to the organization.

Requirements
15+ years of experience in technology sales, with 3+ years of experience in first-line management of a quota-carrying team.
Proven track record hiring and leading successful teams, achieving/exceeding individual and team sales goals.
Prior experience and success developing and executing sales strategy for the TOLA region.
Experience selling to large Enterprises in the region.
Strong background in building and running a Channel model in the region.
Strong background in complex security, networking, and cloud-based IT solutions sets
Experience forecasting commitments with accuracy.
Self-starter who takes initiative and thrives in a fast-paced and high-growth environment. Ability to grow and scale upward with the company.
Must thrive in a “start-up” environment and be able to corral sales support from teams based at HQ in the United States.
Must be team-oriented and have strong mentorship skills.

The base salary compensation range targeted for this role based out of Gigamon's Santa Clara, CA, Headquarters office is $176,500 - $220,000, with an opportunity to earn an annual bonus or commission (subject to terms and conditions of the plan). This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the Company’s compensation practices.

Employees in this position are eligible to participate in the Company’s standard employee benefit programs, which currently include health insurance, health savings accounts, life, AD&D, disability, 401(k) plan with company matching contributions, paid time off (holidays, vacation, and sick), tuition reimbursement, employee assistance program (EAP), business travel accident insurance, employee discounts, and employee referral program. Additionally, employees in this position are eligible to participate in the Profit Interest Units plan.
