Senior Sales Executive Womens & Juniors Apparel

This is a true sales and business development role for someone who already knows the market, has active buyer relationships and can open doors. The company is specifically looking for someone with established relationships at retailers such as TJX, T.J. Maxx, Marshalls, Ross, Burlington and Costco.

The right person will know how to take an opportunity from the first buyer conversation through pricing, product development and ultimately a purchase order.

HYBRID 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Develop new business across off price, club, value and specialty retail accounts


• Leverage existing buyer and merchant relationships to secure meetings and present product


• Identify opportunities for special programs, closeouts, canceled orders, reorders and fast turn business


• Present product and develop programs based on each retailer’s customer, assortment and price point


• Negotiate pricing, quantities, margins, delivery and terms


• Partner closely with overseas production and sourcing teams on costing, product development and delivery


• Build and manage a strong pipeline of new and repeat business

REQUIREMENTS

• 10+ years of apparel wholesale sales experience


• Strong experience within Women’s & Juniors and off - price retailers


• Current, active relationships with major off price retailers


• Proven ability to open new accounts and generate meaningful sales volume


• Strong understanding of off price, wholesale pricing, margins and large volume programs


• Experience working directly with overseas factories and sourcing teams


• A self starter who knows how to create opportunities and close business


• Candidates with active relationships at Costco, TJX, Ross and Burlington will be especially relevant.
