Job Description - Senior Sales Manager, Midwest US
The Senior Sales Manager is responsible for driving regional sales performance to achieve assigned order budgets and market penetration goals. This role plays a critical part in shaping and executing strategic sales plans, managing key client relationships, and leading a high-performing sales team. The position contributes directly to the company’s growth objectives by aligning regional strategies with overall business goals and ensuring operational excellence in sales execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Ability to develop and implement strategic sales plans that align with organizational objectives.
Strong leadership skills to manage, mentor, and grow a regional sales team.Proven experience in forecasting, budgeting, and achieving revenue targets.
Expertise in building and maintaining relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
Collaborative mindset to work cross-functionally with Marketing, Product Management, and other departments.
Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce.com) and data-driven decision-making.
Requirements for Consideration:
Bachelor’s degree required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum 8–10 years of related experience, preferably in technology, capital equipment, or instrument sales, including 3-5 years in a leadership role
Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and managing regional teams.
Strong negotiation and closing skills.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
Analytical skills for interpreting sales data and market trends.
Ability to travel as required for client meetings and industry events.
