Develop and execute DMPK strategies: Formulate and implement DMPK strategies that align with our platform, program objectives, and overall company goals to support robust pipelines and facilitate successful global drug registration. Represent the DMPK function: Collaborate with Research, Toxicology, Bioanalysis, Clinical Pharmacology, Nonclinical Writing, and Regulatory Affairs to understand absorption and disposition characteristics and mechanisms of novel small-interfering RNAs (siRNAs), apply pharmacokinetic (PK) and pharmacodynamic (PD) principles to guide pharmacology and toxicology study designs, and enable quantitative PK-PD data integration to ultimately influence clinical development plans and to accelerate drug discovery and development processes. Design, execute, analyze and interpret DMPK results: Be a doer in conducting experiments and analyzing and interpreting the data, be a problem solver and take initiatives to solve DMPK-related challenges. Support regulatory submissions: Write PK, PK/PD, and toxicokinetic (TK) study reports and other regulatory documents to support regulatory filings and address regulatory inquiries. Ph.D. in Pharmacokinetics, Drug Metabolism, Pharmacology, or a related field with 3+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience. Deep understanding of pharmacokinetic and drug metabolism principles. Demonstrated ability of applying model-based approaches for quantitative data integration and/or human dose projection is required. Proven ability to apply scientific principles and critical thinking to solve scientific challenges in a timely and effective manner. Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
