Description

The Senior Security Coordinator serves as the primary security representative at the Field Support Center (Corporate Headquarters), overseeing daily administration of the organization's access control, CCTV, and visitor management systems while ensuring a secure, professional, and hospitality-driven environment for employees, executives, Board members, visitors, and contractors.

 

Positioned at the front desk, this role manages visitor processing, monitors security systems, coordinates access requests, and serves as the initial point of contact for security incidents and concerns. The Senior Security Coordinator supports security operations through incident triage, documentation, system administration, and coordination with field personnel, vendors, and internal stakeholders.



Responsibilities
  • Serve as primary security representative for the corporate headquarters front desk/reception area.

  • Deliver a professional, welcoming, and hospitality-focused arrival experience while maintaining all corporate security and access control requirements for employees, executives, Board members, customers, vendors, and visitors.

  • Process visitors, contractors, and vendors in accordance with established visitor management procedures and security protocols.

  • Serve as the first point of contact for executive and VIP visitors, ensuring a seamless arrival experience while adhering to established security protocols and confidentiality requirements.

  • Operate/Monitor visitor management systems, ensuring accurate registration, badging, and access authorization.

  • Monitor and manage electronic access control systems, including badge access requests, access provisioning support, and troubleshooting basic access-related issues.

  • Provide a professional and security-focused presence for employees, visitors, and external partners entering the corporate headquarters.

  • Respond to security-related inquiries, incidents, and requests at the corporate headquarters.

  • Maintain detailed logs, visitor records, and incident documentation in accordance with requirements.

  • Manage key aspects of the company badge program, including issuance, programming, and recordkeeping

  • Assist in the coordination of executive meetings, Board visits, customer events, and other high-profile visits requiring enhanced visitor coordination and security support.

  • Record and maintain FSC phone directories and communication lists

  • Serve as the designated “security desk” within Network Operations Center (NOC) on assignment.

  • Monitor incoming security alerts, notifications, and operational communications from field locations and corporate systems.

  • Coordinate initial triage/escalation of security-related incidents, threats, or operational concerns.

  • Maintain situational awareness of ongoing field security events and provide timely communication to leadership and relevant stakeholders.

  • Assist in documenting and tracking operational security incidents, notifications, and response activities.

  • Assist in monitoring threat intelligence platforms for emerging physical and operational threats.

  • Assess and triage threat intelligence feeds, escalating issues as appropriate.

  • Perform routine and ad-hoc audits of physical security systems and practices.

  • Conduct inspections of facilities, access controls, visitor management procedures, and incident response protocols to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.

  • Identify vulnerabilities and assist in recommending corrective actions.

  • Oversee the operation, maintenance, and effectiveness of corporate headquarters CCTV surveillance systems.

  • Monitor live and recorded video feeds to identify suspicious activity, security incidents, or operational concerns.

  • Analyze historical footage to support incident investigations and risk assessments.

 

 



Qualifications

Minimum Education and/or Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in physical security operations, corporate security, GSOC, security command center, security systems administration, or a related security function 

 

Additional knowledge and skills:

  • Demonstrated experience managing or administering electronic security systems, including access control, CCTV/video management systems, visitor management platforms, and alarm systems

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver a high-touch, hospitality-focused experience while maintaining professionalism, discretion, and strict adherence to security protocols.

  • Experience as initial point of contact for incidents, emergency alerts, or operational escalations 

  • Proven ability to assess, prioritize, and effectively escalate security-related incidents and requests 

  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with experience interacting professionally with employees, executives, visitors, contractors, and vendors 

  • Experience working in a professional corporate, hospitality, executive, luxury service, aviation, or other high-touch customer-facing environment 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including incident reporting and documentation 

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and priority management 

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other business technology platforms 

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information 

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams 

  • Experience supporting executive offices, executive protection programs, VIP services, private aviation, luxury hospitality, or similar high-profile environments 

  • Experience administering enterprise security platforms such as LenelS2, Genetec, Milestone, Verkada, Envoy, or similar systems 

  • Experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC), Global Security Operations Center (GSOC), Corporate Security Operations Center (CSOC), or security command center environment 

  • Knowledge of physical security best practices, access control principles, investigations, and incident management procedures 

  • Associate's or bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Homeland Security, Security Management, Business Administration, or a related field 

  • Industry certifications such as ASIS APP, PSP, CPP, or other relevant security credentials 

  • Experience coordinating emergency response, crisis management, or business continuity activities
