Senior SERE Instructor

This position is contingent upon successful contract proposal submission and award.

Prevailance, Inc. is seeking an experienced, mission-driven Senior Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape (SERE) Instructor to lead and support high-risk, high-impact training in San Diego, CA. This senior-level position is ideal for a military professional with demonstrated leadership, instructional excellence, and a deep understanding of SERE principles. The selected candidate will contribute to the preparation and readiness of U.S. service members facing potential isolation or captivity scenarios. 

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an approved DoD SERE Level “C” High-Risk Course
  • A valid SERE Level “C” training certificate with date of completion is required
    
• Minimum of ten (10) years of military service (any branch)
  
• Attained a minimum rank of E-7
  
• Honorable discharge
  • A copy of DD214 will be required
    
• Physically able to:
  
  • Lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Walk up to 4 miles per day with a 35 lb. rucksack
  • Climb multiple flights of stairs repeatedly
  • Provide up to 10 consecutive hours of instruction
    
• Able to pass SERE psychological screening and high-risk training evaluation

Desired Qualifications:

• Navy NEC 9502 (Instructor), NEC 9505 (SERE Instructor), 807A, or completion of Navy Instructor Qualification Course
  
• Basic First Aid and CPR Certification or Wilderness First Responder training

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree
  • Additional experience may be accepted in lou of a degree

Clearance:

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
