Senior Service Technician

Purpose of the Role:

Provide technical support, service, and installation of equipment directly at customer sites (in the Czech Republic and abroad), with the aim of ensuring reliable operation of the equipment, high customer satisfaction, and efficient resolution of service and warranty requests.

Tasks:

• Provides service and technical support to Wyma customers.


• Manages warranty claims in line with warranty process as directed by the After Sales Manager.


• Manages installation of equipment and lines at the customer in the Czech Republic and abroad


• Manages Basic component configuration (Frequency  converters, sensors)


• Basic electro-mechanical assembly


• Assembly of equipment and their parts according to the drawing documentation


• Performs inspections and generates parts and service reports and recommendations


• Carries out inspections and create reports and parts/service recommendations.

Professional prerequisites:

• Reliability, diligence and team spirit


• Knowledge of reading drawing documentation


• Group B driving license - active driver


• Forklift license welcome


• Good physical health


• Electrical Certification, Vyhláška 50/1978 Coll. is advantage


• Welding certificate is welcome, or at least knowledge of welding


• Manual skills- locksmith knowledge, grinding, welding, drilling, milling, etc.


• English or German at the communication level


• Inherent in the normal work of this position is the need to travel to customer sites (either domestically or internationally) including for service work, installation on a regular basis. This could be for periods up to 3 weeks at a time. It is a requirement of the role to have the ability to travel both domestically and internationally.
