Business Technology Integrators, headquartered in suburban Washington, D.C., is actively searching for a Senior SharePoint Engineer to support a federal customer on-site in Washington, D.C.
The SharePoint Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining SharePoint environments and solutions. This includes configuring sites, libraries, workflows, and web parts, ensuring system security, and supporting business processes through automation and integration.
Key Responsibilities oInstall, configure, and maintain SharePoint servers (on-premises and/or SharePoint Online). oMonitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and apply patches or updates. oManage permissions, security settings, and compliance requirements. oDesign and deploy SharePoint solutions, including custom workflows, forms, and web parts. oMigrate data and content from legacy systems to SharePoint using scripts or third-party tools. oCustomize SharePoint sites to meet organizational needs. oCollaborate with IT teams and IA. oProvide technical support to end-users and site owners and create documentation oEnsure adherence to security standards and organizational policies. oMaintain knowledge of SharePoint best practices and emerging technologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications oBachelor’s degree with TS or DOE Q clearance. o10+ years of experience with SharePoint administration with a deep understanding of SharePoint Architecture, features and best practices. oProficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation. oExperience with migrating SharePoint versions on-premises or online (preferably using ShareGate) oSharePoint components (Search, Taxonomy, Managed Metadata). oPatching SharePoint server to meet organization security standards. oExperience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST API, and SQL. Is preferred. oStrong problem-solving and analytical skills. oExcellent communication and collaboration abilities.
