Prepares documentation and completes invoicing transaction for all shipments. This includes utilizing customer portals, completing ASN(Advanced Shipment Notifications), various carrier specific labels, ITAR specific documentation, export documentation, and government contract management. Performs transactions necessary to invoice customer orders specific to each customer requirement and ship method. Manages overtime to the shipment forecast. Prepare, process, and distribute shipping documentation to support commercial, government, domestic and international shipments. Comply with all international and hazardous shipping regulations. Maintains a high degree of professionalism, and expert knowledge in the areas of shipping procedures and processes. Problem-solves difficult customer relations issues; proactively addresses changing priorities; and positively manages projects, initiative, and activities under tight deadlines Communications between internal/external customers, supply chain management and staff any issues, concerns, delivery status, etc. Works proactively with internal/external customers to ensure timely delivery of customer requirements while upholding the standard work procedures of the shipping office. Creatively thinks of delivery solutions to ensure shipment forecast dollars are hit daily/monthly and self-monitors the progress to the target throughout the work day. Brings shipping/invoicing errors to the attention of the immediate supervisor to put preventative measures in place.
