Senior Software Developer

Essential Duties

• Lead the design, development, testing, deployment, and support of enterprise software applications.


• Serve as technical lead for software development projects and application enhancement initiatives.


• Design application architecture, system integrations, and scalable technical solutions.


• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define requirements and develop technology roadmaps.


• Develop and maintain integrations between ERP systems, manufacturing systems, cloud applications, databases, and external platforms.


• Establish and promote software development standards, coding practices, and quality assurance processes.


• Perform code reviews and mentor developers on technical best practices.


• Troubleshoot and resolve complex application, performance, and integration issues.


• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions that improve business processes and operational efficiency.


• Develop technical specifications, architecture documentation, and development standards.


• Participate in project planning, resource estimation, and technical risk assessments.


• Ensure software solutions meet security, compliance, and reliability requirements.


• Coordinate with infrastructure, cybersecurity, and business teams to support enterprise technology initiatives.


• Provide advanced support for business-critical applications and systems.


• Partner with vendors and third-party technical resources when necessary.

Skills, Abilities, and Education

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field required.


• Experience

• 7+ years of progressive software development experience.


• Demonstrated experience leading complex software development projects.


• Experience supporting enterprise applications in manufacturing, supply chain, or food production environments strongly preferred.


• Experience mentoring developers and providing technical leadership preferred.

• Technology

• Advanced proficiency with .NET, C#, SQL Server, Azure, APIs, source control, and DevOps technologies.


• Strong understanding of system architecture, integrations, software engineering practices, and cloud technologies.


• Experience integrating ERP platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred.
