About the Role:

We're looking for a driven, experienced Senior Software Developer to help take our new AI-Business Unit, to the next level. You'll be working with our existing codebase to optimize performance, add advanced features, and scale up our system.

In this role, you should be able to identify opportunities for improvement, write clean code, and have an eye for spotting potential issues before they impact users. You should collaborate effectively within our team and be comfortable working independently on complex technical challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Optimize existing React/Node.js code for better performance and scalability ·
• Enhance AI conversation flows and real-time communication systems ·
• Improve database queries and implement advanced analytics features ·
• Enhance IVR integrations for better call quality and SMS automation ·
• Integrate third-party APIs and manage real-time data flows using WebSockets ·
• Refactor existing code, keeping in mind maintainability, simplicity and scalability ·
• Implement new features like sentiment analysis and dashboards ·
• Debug complex issues across the full stack (frontend, backend, database) ·
• Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize improvements

Qualifications & Experience

Must Have

• Ability to quickly understand and improve existing codebases ·
• Experience in creating and scaling production level applications
• 5+ years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript development ·
• 3+ years of experience with React and modern frontend development ·
• 2+ years of Node.js backend development experience ·
• Strong PostgreSQL/SQL optimization skills ·
• Experience debugging and improving application performance ·
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Proven track record of taking products from good to great

Nice to Haves

• Experience with AI/ML APIs (OpenAI preferred) ·
• Familiarity with Twilio or similar telecommunications platforms ·
• Experience with real-time applications and WebSocket optimization ·
• Knowledge of Supabase or similar backend-as-a-service platforms ·
• Understanding of multi-tenant application architecture ·
• Experience with natural language processing ·
• Track record of scaling web applications ·
• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
