Job Description:
As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will build and scale the core services powering an AI platform that streamlines clinical workflows. You will design production-grade LLM integrations, architect robust data systems, and ship high-impact features weekly. This role offers the chance to solve complex engineering challenges while directly improving the lives of medical professionals.

What you will do:

• Architect and deploy complex backend services and APIs using FastAPI, MongoDB, and Postgres.

• Build and maintain scalable infrastructure that interfaces directly with LLMs to power essential daily workflows.

• Lead the transition of rapid prototypes into hardened, secure, and reliable production systems on AWS and Docker.

The ideal candidate:

• Has 7+ years of professional backend engineering experience with a track record of shipping in startup environments.

• Possesses deep expertise in designing distributed systems and handling high-volume, data-heavy backend architectures.

• Demonstrates a product-focused mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity and maintain high code quality standards.
