Our client in the biotech industry is looking to bring on a

Senior Software Engineer

for a

one year contract.

This is a brand new project, and an extension/conversion could be possible, but not guaranteed. This role will be

onsite

in San Diego until ramped up, and then

hybrid.

What they are looking for:Extensive experience creating shopfloor control software applications utilizing C#, Beckhoff TwinCAT Framework for bespoke scientific equipment.Experience of PLCs, motion control, robotics, distributed I/O, fieldbus systems (EtherCAT) and HMI technologiesExperience developing multi-threaded applicationsExperience with unit testing during developmentStrong problem solving skillsBS in Computer Science or 7+ years in Software Engineering in a manufacturing environment
